COMMUNITY WORD

Faith and trust in the Good Shepherd allows God’s grace to work in our life.

ORDER:

“I urge you to live in a manner worthy of the call you have received.” (Eph 4:1)

PROPHECIES:

  1. I tell you, gather and shepherd My people and see that no one is lost.
  2. Abide in me; do what is good and share acts of compassion and generosity because they are pleasing to Me.
  3. Be steadfast in your love for Me as you serve the community. Trust Me.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Bring the message of God’s enduring love and hope to those affected by the pandemic and extend help to them.
  2. Serve the Lord with a humble and obedient heart despite the hardships and constraints.
  3. Rest your spirits by listening to the Lord through the daily reading of scriptures.

THEMES AND PROMISES

Week#1 (14th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: God’s grace works in our life when we entrust our insufficiency to Christ.

Promise: “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor 12:9)

Week#2 (15th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: God’s grace works in our life when we heed Christ’s call to mission.

Promise: “The Lord himself will give his benefits…and prepare the way of his steps.” (Ps 85:13a, 14b)

Week#3 (16th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: God’s grace works in our life when we compassionately care for our brethren.

Promise: “I will appoint shepherds for them who will shepherd them so that…none will be missing.” (Jer 23:4)

Week#4 (17th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: God’s grace works in our life when we rely on His divine provision and generosity.

Promise: “The eyes of all look hopefully to you…you open your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.” (Ps 145:15a, 16b)
