COMMUNITY WORD
Jesus, our guiding Star, brings hope in our journey of faith.

ORDER “Rise up…the glory of the Lord shines upon you.” (Is 60:1)

PROPHECY
1. Fix your eyes on Me; follow Me that your star may illumine the path of others.
2. Be childlike in your faith that you may receive the full measure of My grace.

DIRECTION
1. Be steadfast in your faith through prayers and participation in the Sacraments.
2. Never tire of giving help to those in need during this time of lingering pandemic.
3. Possess the heart and character of Jesus as the defining spirit of authentic discipleship.

THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1 (The Epiphany of the Lord)
Theme: We have hope in our faith journey when we offer our life for God’s glory.
Promise: “…you shall be radiant at what you see… the wealth of nations shall be brought to you.” (Is 60:5)

Week#2 (Feast of the Baptism of the Lord)
Theme: We have hope in our faith journey when we work for peace and justice.
Promise: “Upon whom I have put my spirit; he shall bring forth justice to the nations.” (Is 42:1b)

Week#3 (Phil – Feast of the Sto. Niño – 500 Years of Christianity)
Theme: We have hope in our faith journey when we accept the kingdom of God like a child.
Promise: “…you may know what is the hope that belongs to his call, what are the riches of glory in his inheritance among the holy ones.” (Eph 1:18b)

Week#3 (Int’l – 2nd Sunday in Ordinary)
Theme: We have hope in our faith journey when we listen to Jesus and remain in Him.
Promise: “…whoever is joined to the Lord becomes one Spirit with him.” (1Cor 6:17)

Week#4 (3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We have hope in our faith journey when we abandon worldly attachments and follow Jesus.
Promise: “Come after me and I will make you fishers of men.” (Mk 1:17)

Week#5 (4th Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We have hope in our faith journey when we witness to God’s authority in our life.
Promise: “I will raise up for them a prophet…and will put my words into his mouth; he shall tell them all that I command him.” (Dt. 18:18)
