1. Depend solely on me; I will strengthen and uphold you.
2. Let My light be seen in your life; be the light of the world.
DIRECTIONS
1. Prepare your heart for Lent through prayer, fasting and acts of mercy.
2. Resolve to forgive and be reconciled with one another.
3. Be a good witness to others by living a righteous life.
4. Continue to pray for the success of the IDC.
THEME AND PROMISE
Week#1 (4th Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We are renewed in God’s righteousness when we live the Beatitudes.
Promise: “Rejoice and be glad, for your reward will be great in heaven.” (Mt 5:12)
Week#2 (5th Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We are renewed in God’s righteousness when we are the light that leads others to Christ.
Promise: “Light shall rise for you in darkness.” (Is 58:10b)
Week#3 (6th Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We are renewed in God’s righteousness when we obey His commandments with a sincere heart.
Promise: “Blessed are they whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.” (Ps 119:1)
Week#4 (1st Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We are renewed in God’s righteousness when we overcome temptation through His Word and sanctifying grace.
Promise: “…through the obedience of the one man …the many will be made righteous.” (Rom 5:19b)
