COMMUNITY WORD

Living a life for God leads us to store up heavenly treasures.

ORDER  

“If you were raised with Christ, seek what is above…not of what is on earth.” (Col 3:1-2)

PROPHECIES:

  1. Find delight in My presence and enjoy the treasures I have for you.
  2. Seek Me with all of your heart; do not worry, I am all that you need.
  3. Persevere and be prepared to overcome challenges with humility.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Share your time, talent & treasure for worthy causes and outreaches.
  2. Allow God’s word to be rooted in your heart to strengthen you.
  3. Offer your prayers to the Blessed Mother and seek for her maternal intercession.
  4. Pray for a spirit-filled 2nd Philippine Singles Inter-District Conference in September.

THEMES AND PROMISES

Week 1 (18th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: We store up heavenly treasures when we guard against idolatry and worldly attachments.

Promise: “When Christ your life appears, then you too will appear with him in glory.” (Col 3:4)

Week 2 (19th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: We store up heavenly treasures when we are always vigilant and faithful stewards of Christ.

Promise: “Do not be afraid any longer…for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.” (Lk 12:32)

Week 3 (20th Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: We store up heavenly treasures when we have courage to avoid sin and embrace the righteousness of Christ

Promise: “The Lord heard my cry…he made firm my steps.” (Ps 40:3a, 3c)

Week 4 (21st Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: We store up heavenly treasures when we accept our trials as the Lord’s loving discipline.

Promise: “…all discipline…brings the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it.” (Heb 12:11)

Week 5 (22nd Sunday in Ordinary Time)

Theme: We store up heavenly treasures when we remain humble in our ways and are mindful of the last, the least and the lost.

Promise: “Humble yourself the more…and you will find favor with God.” (Sir 3:18)
