God’s saving power is upon those who share the light of Christ.
ORDER
“Rise up in splendor… the Lord shines upon you.” (Is 60:1)
PROPHECIES:
- May My love for you radiate to others.
- I am sending you to be My light in the dark areas of this world.
- As you are led by My light, let others come to Me.
DIRECTIONS:
- Proclaim God’s marvelous deeds to all the nations.
- Let our actions be guided by the daily God’s word.
- Let the young members be active in word sharing and community activities.
THEMES AND PROMISES
Week 1 (Solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord)
Theme: We share the light of Christ when we are generous in offering our time, talent and treasure.
Promise: “For he shall rescue the poor… and the afflicted when he has no one to help him.” (Ps 72:12)
Week 2 (Feast of the Baptism of the Lord)
Theme: We share the light of Christ when we acknowledge Him as the beloved Son of God.
Promise: “…upon whom I have put my spirit, he shall bring forth justice to the nations.” (Is 42:1b)
Week 3 (Feast of the Sto. Nino – Philippines)
Theme: We share the light of Christ when we trust and obey like a child.
Promise: “… the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory … give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation resulting in knowledge of him.” (Eph 1:17)
Week 3 (2nd Sunday in Ordinary Time – International)
Theme: We share the light of Christ when we value the sanctity of marriage.
Promise: “As the bridegroom rejoices in his bride, so shall your God rejoice in you.” (Is 62:5b)
Week 4 (3rd Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We share the light of Christ when we minister to the poor, the oppressed and the sick.
Promise: “… if one part is honored, all the parts share its joy.” (1Cor 12:26b)
