Our Father exalts His faithful servants who imitate and witness the life of Christ the King.
ORDER
“Stay awake, for you know neither the day nor the hour.” (Mt 25:13)
PROPHECIES
1. Believe in Me and obey My word, and I will give you eternal life.
2. Serve Me with all your heart, mind and strength.
DIRECTIONS
1. Be spiritually prepared by receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist.
2. Pray, meditate and act on the word of God.
3. Reach out to the poor and the needy by doing corporal works of mercy.
4. Offer masses and prayers for all our departed brothers and sisters.
5. Pray for the young generation and lead them to honor and serve Jesus.
THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1 (31st Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We imitate and witness the life of Christ the King by honoring and serving Him in humility.
Promise: “Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” (Mt 23:12)
Week#2 (32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We imitate and witness the life of Christ the King by prudently seeking the Lord’s wisdom.
Promise: “We who are alive…shall always be with the Lord.” (1 Thes 4:17)
Week#3 (33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time)
Theme: We imitate and witness the life of Christ the King by being responsible and accountable to bear fruit for God’s kingdom.
Promise: “Since you were faithful in small matters, I will give you great responsibilities. Come, share your master’s joy.” (Mt 25:21)
Week#4 (The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe)
Theme: We imitate and witness the life of Christ the King by living a righteous life and caring for the last, the least and the lost.
Promise: “Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” (Mt 25:34)
