“This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased; listen to Him.” (Mt 17:5b)
PROPHECIES.
1. Look to Me and listen that you may serve Me with joy in your heart, guided by My Spirit.
2. Be a shining light to those who are in darkness.
DIRECTIONS
1. Intensify your prayer life and seek the Lord through His words in Scripture.
2. Live a sacramental life to be in a state of grace always.
3. Fast and give alms to the poor and the needy.
THEMES AND PROMISES
Week#1 (2nd Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We live a life of holiness when we listen to no one else, but Jesus.
Promise: “I will bless you…so that you will be a blessing.” (Gen 12:2)
Week#2 (3rd Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We live a life of holiness when we worship the Father in Spirit and truth.
Promise: “…the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” (Jn 4:14b)
Week#3 (4th Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We live a life of holiness when we follow Jesus who is the Light of the world.
Promise: “Awake and arise from the dead and Christ will give you light.” (Ep 5:24b)
Week#4 (5th Sunday of Lent)
Theme: We live a life of holiness when we believe in the resurrection on the last day.
Promise: “I will put my spirit in you that you may live… I have promised, and I will do it…” (Ez 37:14)
