Greetings to one and all!
I share with the exhortation of St. Paul in his words to the Corinthians (1 Cor 1:10): “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” These words are words I pray for our community. Indeed, it may sound ideal or even far-fetched, nevertheless, I know this is achievable in one way or the other because we ARE brothers and sisters in Christ.
As we celebrate our anniversary, may our good Lord continue to guide us with His Spirit. Changes come every now and then and these may even distress us. It is good to be disturbed every now and then. Such disturbances could lead us to a challenge of becoming better and remaining steadfast to our mandates. We pray though for the strength to do so. This is the reason I urge each and every one in the community to remain in God’s light and let the faith we have been graciously been given through our baptism be the point of reference. Let us not lose sight of our dignity as children of God so that the world and its brokenness not overshadow this to a point that we dwell in darkness and fear.
I am happy to see community members encouraging each other. It is so nice to see the youth gathering in the name of the Lord. How wonderful to see inspired members building up each other in faith and love. Although, there are those who see otherwise and do otherwise, but let them not be our reference point. Be one with God who is creative, generous and full of love and life.
Happy anniversary to one and all. Agbiag to BLD-Baguio.
